Things that I'd forgotten happen in highschool.

FRUSTRATION BLOG ENTRY
gag

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Now. I've only been out of the high school scene for like... what. Three months? Right? Right. And I certainly haven't been out of touch with teenagers. Most of my summer was hanging with my friends. But somehow, in those three months I guess I forgot about the fact that people like to show off their body parts that... well... shouldn't be shown. Or maybe it's a newer thing? Maybe I just didn't get the memo that blatantly showing all of your chest and butt area is awesomely cool and fun and gets you millions of friends?
No? There wasn't a memo?
I didn't think so.
Well apparently some people thought there was. And to tell you the truth, I'm sick of it. Now if this is offending you, please. Stop reading. And then you won't have to worry about being mad at me. Because pretty much, this is a rant for me to get my feelings out on paper... er... I mean a computer screen. Anyways, I don't remember seeing this... MUCH of some of the girls and guys last time I saw them in school. (and that's not a good thing). With some people they seemed to have changed over the summer. As in completely.
Now, I'm not saying we all have to go around wearing baggy jeans and sweatshirts all of our lives, with our t- shirts tucked into our pants belted up around our chins. I'm just saying: have a little self esteem here people. I know we all usually wear fashionable clothes and sometimes stuff happens, or that shirt you girls thought was so cute, is just a teeny tiny bit lower than you noticed ( happened to me before!) . Or the guys have their pants lower and baggier because, hey. They don't want to look like nerds. All understandable.
I'm talking about the thinking " hey. lets go out and buy the LOWEST shirt I possibly find. so everybody can see my chest."
HEY! wake up call: I DON'T WANT TO SEE IT. You know what I think when I see that? I think that you have no self esteem so the only way you can get attention is to flaunt yourself at people. Nope. Not cool girls. Not cool at all. I'm not positive ( back me up here boys) but the only attention you can get for yourself is bad attention from unpleasant boys. All the boys around me that I am friends with complain about it. They don't want to see that. I'm pretty sure they'd rather you put something else on, and just be their friend rather than flaunt yourself at them. So stop. Like yourself for who YOU are. Not what you try to look like.
Now I haven't seen this as much as I have the girl thing, but I DON'T want to see guys butts. Sorry! Baggy Jeans: Fine. Lower jeans: Fine. SO baggy and SO low, I have to see a line that I shouldn't ever have to see? Not so fine. In fact, nasty. You're not a plumber. So put it away.
Get a belt. Or just pull up your pants.
Once again. I'm not saying the girls need to wear this:

Gorgeous as it is... and the boys don't have to look like this every school day:
See how unhappy they all are? I don't want you guys to look like this. I just don't want to see your body parts on parade.
Lets keep that at home.
Not at school.
Or at least when I don't have to see it.

Drinking the last dregs of summer in...

I can't wait for tomorrow! I'm too excited to do more fun summer stuff! Because you see school isn't going to be starting for... like... another month.
Right?
Right?
RIGHT?!
wait.
WHAT?!

school starts tomorrow? :(
Really... it's quite sad... and depressing. I had plans for this summer. And some of them got finished. But some didn't. Like: not at all in the least bit got finished! The only reason I can think that this summer went by so fast was how much stuff I was doing with all my friends. And my whole family. I've been so busy I didn't even write about everything I did. And now, I definitely can't give all the details. :( But I do want to remember some of the best stuff, so i'm going to write it down. If you don't want to read, feel free to skip it. Some of the best things this summer, among everything I did was:
Bear Lake
Randomly driving down with Bailey and Jared to Studio 600 ready to dance the night away only to find out it was old men wearing ugly Hawaiian shirt night there.
Driving around trying to find ice cream... and missing the turn off about five billion times
Going to Lagoon- Once with Aud, next with Erico.
Going to the Gardens and running around pretending to be a small child
Shopping. Millions and billions of times
Asking for rice krispie treats, eating frozen grapes and rolling down hills.
pretending like i knew how to park big cars.
movies ( especially the one with hugh jackmans butt... yum. hahaha)
hanging out until two in the morning. with people i hardly even knew.
calling people. texting people. that i REALLY didn't know.
making up new words.
playing the most fun games in the whole world simply because i was with the best person to play games with in the whole world.
shopping. with boys.
shopping. for boys.
dancing
jamba juice
wheatgrass!
doing ab work outs on my carpet
going to the smallest concert ever and head banging
jet skiing
going bowling.
randomly deciding to go laser tagging. and getting hopelessly lost.
laughing at the best jokes.
laughing at the dumbest jokes.
singing the worst i can in the best car in the world to sing in.
talking to people on the radio about why they're REALLY singing that song.
running around EVERYWHERE just trying to find where in the world some underwear could be!
finding it, and tie dying it.
doing something at least three times a week with my friends
and loving every minute of it!
How is that for a fun summer?! and i didn't even get half of it. :(
I'm so sad it's over, but i'm so excited for the school year - I just hope I have as much fun as I did in the summer time! I hope everyone else had a great summer too!
