So to kick off my summer vacation, My family and I went on a fun trip to Florida! (of course that was after I had some amazing adventures with my friends, one of which I need to continue... cough cough aud! haha). Anyways. We went for nine days and it was a ton of fun! Our first night we got to go to a Hotel and in the back of the Hotel was their own beach! So instead of swimming in the pool the first night we went to the ocean and body surfed ( it sounds alot easier than it really is! ) and explored on the beach. My little bro found a billion shells, and he swears he found coral ( which is actually just a big rock, but he's nine so we let him think what he wants. He doesn't listen to me anyways. haha) Then the next day we went to Kennedy Space Center, and got to see the new Shuttle, the Endeavor, up close ( meaning two miles away). we were planning to see it launched, and got up at three to drive down there, but they canceled it and said that they were scrubbing it 'til July. Sigh... i was really excited about it too! We then drove to Disney world and spent the rest of the trip there with my family, and my cousins. A caution to all who want to go to Disney World in the middle of summer: not a good idea! Unless you really like being sticky and deathly hot the whole time. we spent most of our time inside, or using misters to keep ourselves cool! However it was a fun time, and now i'm really bored back at home because there's nothing like Disney World here at my house! haha.
